Why are girls so shallow in guys?

I'm not saying guys are not shallow, guys are real shallow but girls are even much more shallow than guys. Whether it is looks wise or money wise. It's so hard for an above or above average guys who are not sexy but not ugly to get a girl to approve him whereas even the least attractive chicks have few guys lined up to go out with them. The only way for average or ugly guys to get a girl without going through stress and frustration is by being rich. Till then, not even average girls or even ugly girls in a whole lot of cases reject decent looking guys because they want the top notch. Guys, no matter how sexy they are would look around for the hottest chick but still would be willing to give a girl who is even average looking a girl. In order for that to happen to an average guy, he needs to have a lot of money.
