Chevy 5.7L 350 engine and rear end performance upgrade?

I have a 1980 Chevy caprice with a 1995 5.7L 350 stock and I'm wanting to do a upgrade adding carburetor,heads, cam,intake,distributor and headers. I'm looking for a complete dial up of what I should get part for part but on a budget. I have assess to lots of used parts from all years and would like to take advantage of as many of them as possible. The car is a 1980 Chevy caprice that came with a v6 so I'm thinking change the rear end but would like to go with something that will bolt right up with little modification any help would be nice. I'm looking for a complete dial up part for part oh and I'm going with a 350 turbo transmission but not sure on the stall yet so any help would be great. This will be my street car daily driver maybe the quarter mile track once a month for fun.
