Given US economic hard times, can Americans still afford to send Israel $8.2 million each day?

I think we should stop sending 6 million dollars a day to Egypt and Palestine with that logic, too. You'd like that, won't you? Egypt gets almost as much aid as Israel. And don't even get me started on Palestinian aid.
