My RAM won't fit into the slot?

I'm 100% sure I bought the correct RAM, DDR2 and everything. I aligned the notch with the slot and tried to push it in, but i couldn't. The RAM's kind of loose and shaky when i put it into the slot before pushing. I did unlock the slot. What am I doing wrong? Do you require A LOT of pressure for the RAM to go inside?
