This is why companies can't keep good employees from sticking around. But cruise lines know that the staff, especially DJ's, are dispensable, 'cause there are a lot of people vying to do the work. It's important to always get contract stuff in writing. But try and tough it out for a bit, and show management how the guests are impressed with your work, and try and talk to the managers that have 'pull', or that you get a long with well. Or try and apply on other cruise lines that pay more fairly for quality work.
