How bad is it that I got my first C+ ever?

So throughout Freshman and Sophomore year of high school at an all boys preparatory school in Massachusetts my Sophomore year has been really rough. At the beginning of Sophomore year I got my first C+ ever because I was not used to Geometry but after that I kept working at it and brought it up to an A then a steady A- for the rest of the year with a B on the final. I just got my final grades back today and this sucks. For final exams I got an A- in English II, B in Spanish II and Geometry, A- in AP Euro History, B+ in Scripture and a C+ in Chem. This sucks because I really was looking at top notch NESCAC schools like Middlebury and Amherst to play lacrosse at but two C+'s in the same year I guess I should wish all that away. I was really working my *** off in Chemistry and Geometry because I'm more of an Algebra and Bio type of guy. Now my final grades for all my classes are B+ in English II, A- Spanish II, B+ in Geometry, B in Chemistry, A- In AP Euro History, and A- in Scripture so my GPA dropped to a dreary 3.584... This sucks I really just do not know what to do because even though there are no C's on my final grade colleges will still see this foolishness. Ahhhh the worst thing is is that my friend committed suicide last week and I just don't know what to do. Can I still get into a good academic school with such a bad GPA?
