Would the U.S. have beaten Mexico with a better back four?

the defense focused too much on containing chicharito(which they did an ok job) that they left open spaces for dos santos to capitalize. barrera kept exploiting Bornstien lack of speed. torrado and israel castro did a great job as holding midfielders. guardado wasn't as affective because of his weak ankle but his soccer IQ led to smart counter attacks. The united states thought they could punk mexico with there physical strength but mexico ended up punking the united states with there superb speed. the united states looked to cocky and confident after they scored the second goal that they stopped playing smart soccer.
